2024: a year of innovation for InfoTrackID

Verification of Identity (VOI) is a critical component of modern legal and property transactions, providing a secure and efficient way to confirm client identities while mitigating risks. At InfoTrack, we recognise the importance of continuously evolving our VOI solutions to meet the changing needs of legal professionals and their clients.

In 2024, our VOI solution, InfoTrackID, has undergone significant enhancements to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve the user experience for both practitioners and their clients. Let’s take a closer look at the transformative updates that have defined this year.

Customisable ordering screen

InfoTrackID has a new fully customisable ordering screen. Now, you can set default values effortlessly, tailoring the VOI ordering process to your specific needs. Admin users will have a cog wheel on their dashboard, where they can edit the default value for VOI type, Workflow, CAF selection, NSW Purchaser Declaration selection, and more. The selected default values will automatically apply to all future VOI matters, eliminating the need for you to repeatedly select your preferred options and saving you valuable time.  

Simplified resubmission for InfoCheck

If a document received from a client contains a typo made during submission, there was previously no option for you to rectify it without asking the client to resubmit the entire VOI, which was causing a delay in processes. After listening to client feedback, we’ve made a change to address this issue. 

We have introduced inline editing for InfoCheck. With this innovative feature, you can make corrections directly within the document, streamlining the workflow and ensuring a smooth process for you and your clients. 

Easily request additional documents

Previously, variations in your client’s name across identity documents could require restarting the verification process, needing extra documentation for confirmation. To improve the process and save you time, we’ve introduced a new feature, where you can now submit additional documents during an ongoing VOI. This means that documents such as Change of Name and Marriage Certificates can be added without needing to restart the VOI. This enhancement ensures a faster and smoother verification process for you and your clients. 

Real-time status updates

We understand the importance of staying informed every step of the way. That’s why we’ve implemented real-time status updates using cutting-edge technology. By automating the refresh process on your dashboard, we’re empowering you to track progress effortlessly and move your matters forward promptly. 

NSW Purchaser Declaration

The NSW Purchaser Declaration is now seamlessly integrated into InfoTrackID’s VOI process when required, with the option to include it at the start of an order by selecting “NSW Purchaser Declaration”. This innovation eliminates the need for you to send the declaration separately via email, streamlining manual work. This allows purchase matters to collate necessary details quickly and efficiently. The link for the VOI sent to your client will include an additional final step for completing the Purchaser Declaration, with all available information prepopulated to expedite the process. Additionally, like the VOI, real-time status updates are available in the InfoTrackID dashboard, keeping you informed when the Purchaser Declaration has been completed by your client.  

Smart document uploader

For your clients, InfoTrackID is their first experience using a VOI solution. Because of this, they may not be accustomed to taking photos of themselves and their identity documents in a manner that meets the high requirements of identity verification platforms.  

Our new smart document uploader is designed to reduce the number of times your client needs to resubmit images of documents. Leveraging AI, this feature detects blurriness and glare in images, identifying poor-quality uploads upfront and prompting them to resubmit immediately. This prevents delays caused by later requests for better-quality images.  

DVS checks now implemented on your client’s side

It’s common for clients to make errors when submitting identity documents, such as inadvertently inputting incorrect digits or letters. To reduce time spent amending errors manually, ultimately saving you time and expediting your matters, InfoTrackID now automatically checks your client’s details against Document Verification Service (DVS) records as they are entered. This ensures the data is accurate and matches the DVS records, reducing the likelihood of back-and-forth communication between your firm and your client later in the process.
