The flooding disaster in Queensland and New South Wales is a national emergency that has taken a significant toll on the local communities who have been impacted. Whilst the waters have continued to recede, the recovery has only just begun, and it is a long road ahead for those affected.
When the initial rainfall began, InfoTrack took immediate steps to reach out to clients within the flood zones to offer business support in the form of a Disaster Relief Package. Whilst companies have been impacted to varying degrees, what they all have in common is the need for tangible assistance to keep their businesses operating behind the scenes.
As John Ahern the Chief Executive Office of InfoTrack states, “When it comes to a natural disaster of this scale, the priority is always physical safety. After the immediate threat of danger has passed, people want to know – how can they return to some sort of normality? In these circumstances, if we can help our clients to return to their business and have one less thing weighing on their mind, it is the least we can do.”
Whilst the disaster itself has been catastrophic, the comradery of everyday Australians to pitch in where needed has been a shining beacon of hope, as John continues, “Whilst we are here and ready to aid our clients, we also want to assist where possible to the local communities who have been adversely affected. To provide the best humanitarian support where it is needed most, InfoTrack has donated $5,000 to support the Red Cross Flood Appeal. This initiative will provide the essential financial support that those on-ground need in the immediate future and long-term for recovery.”
For any InfoTrack clients who wish to access the Disaster Relief Package, please contact your dedicated Client Relationship Manager to find out how we can best support you and your business.
